Taking a sample size of 1,000 visitors per test would be ideal. That is not likely possible for small, niche sites, or for those just starting out. In those cases, sample sizes of 500, or even 100 can be sufficient. Above you can see based upon current traffic how long it will take to receive 100, 500, and 1000 visitors. Our fix it button will provide thoughts to increase traffic for testing, as well as more permanent solutions to increase traffic.

Getting a true picture of how visitors arrive should be an easy metric to get. Unfortunately, it’s not. This is because search engine providers often hide this data to protect their investments. Website owners are left with large segments of visitors that are simply unknown. The good news is they don’t have to be. Below you will find detailed analysis of how visitors are actually arriving at your website. No guesses, no estimates. Just detailed evidence.

Marketer Tip: Pay particular attention to referral and keyword traffic by search engine. As we merge this info with conversion data you will find you’re sitting on a gold mine. Don’t forget to watch the reveal it video to learn more about how to use these extremely valuable insights.
